Threadhouse Summer Breeze: Block of the Month Kit

We are honoured to have been invited to produce a kit (or 4!) for this stunning Block of the Month Quilt Club, hosted by The Thread House. The Summer Breeze quilt is designed by Karen Lewis, Jo Avery and Lynne Goldsworthy (who make up The Thread House) and you can read more about this BOM club below and on their website. You can sign up from Friday 12th August, and the BOM begins on Monday 10th October, and runs for a full year.

There are 3 colourways available on The Thread House, all in solids. Here we have 4 printed fabric versions to offer you, to give the quilt a different feel. Please get in touch if you like most but not all of the prints in a kit, we can always swop something for you! The kit contains 10 meters of fabric for the quilt top only (no binding, backing or pattern). PLEASE NOTE: Buying this kit does NOT mean you have purchased the BOM Club Membership or the quilt pattern!! This is only available from the Thread House website.

A 5% discount has been included in the price of each kit, compared to buying the fabric separately.

Please note - the images of the Summer Breeze quilt are to give an idea of how the colours could work, they are not featuring the actual prints. You have the freedom to place the colours wherever you feel they best fit, we have just given a couple of examples.

Background and Information From The Thread House:

We have been working hard together over the last couple of months to bring you another stunning quilt! Every year we strive to create something fresh, joyful and different. In Summer Breeze we have created a circular abstract pond bursting with whimsical life and sparkling with summer. Our trademark folk art vibe is still in evidence, along with our love of nature and the modern ‘off-grid’ aesthetic that makes our quilts so original and enjoyable to stitch.

You will receive patterns every month for a selection of blocks. The full timetable will be provided prior to the start of the BOM. We will also provide instructions for finishing the quilt top and suggestions for quilting. Finished quilt measures 70” x 70”.
